By connecting your Garmin Connect™ account, your surf sessions will automatically sync into the app, unlocking Dawn Patrol’s industry-leading tracking tools, detailed insights and accurate performance metrics, all together in one place in the app you'll love.
How it works
Connect your Dawn patrol App
Go to Profile, then tap on settings and find the “Connect with Garmin” section. Enter the integration screen and press connect.
Go surfing and enjoy the waves
Use your Garmin to track your surf session. Select the Surf option, and start your session.
Relive your session
with our App
We send Garmin Data through our Tracking software which enables us to provide the best tracking results and insights.
What you need
- Track your surf with a compatible Garmin watch*
- An iPhone with both the Dawn Patrol / Garmin Connect apps installed. You can get these on the App Store.
- An account on both apps (Garmin Connect and Dawn Patrol).
Once you have the above, follow these steps to connect accounts:
- Open Dawn Patrol on your iPhone
- Go to Preferences (tap your profile icon in the tab bar, and then the preferences icon in the top-right corner of the screen)
- Tap the “Connect with Garmin Connect™” button.
- Enter your Garmin account email and password.
- Read and acknowledge the data sharing agreement.
- Track your surf with your Garmin watch via the native surf sports setting.
*Compatible watches;
Watches where Garmin offers native surf activity tracking (multisport and specific "Surf Edition" watches), including the Instinct, Fēnix, Epix, Enduro, Descent, and Quatix series.
